ANTIQUE HIGH LADDERBACK CHAIR with RUSH SEAT

An English antique low rush seat chair with exaggerated high ladderback. The carved details on the chair are very intricate and quite exceptional. The ladderback crossbars are carved and punctuated with flame top finials. The legs and cross-stretchers are all turned and the front cross bar is incised on top and bottom with "notches" across the bar.
