New York-based Eric Bonnin met his match with ceramics in the mid-1990's, finding it the perfect challenge and creative outlet after an earlier career in the contemporary furniture world in Paris. All of Bonnin's ceramics are handmade in New York City using traditional techniques including wheel-turning and hand-building. Included in Bonnin's current range of elemental ceramics, is this starkly simple workhorse of a bowl. We have dubbed it the "ice cream" bowl, but it is also a reliable standby for cereal or cobbler, or for serving nuts or crackers.
