Candle makers since 1643, Cire Trudon has supplied the Court of Louis XVI as well as the imperial court of Napoleon Bonaparte during its storied history. Presented in a hand-blown glass tumblers with stamped gold foil shield emblem, the Cire Trudon scented candles have often been referred to as the “Rolls Royce” of candles. Known for their artisanal quality, the candles are made with biodegradable vegetal oils and pure cotton wicks.

The Scent: Ciel
A hint of warmth in the heart of winter - cedar, musk chestnut and birch, combine with cashmir wood (commonly referred to as blond woods" in perfume speak).
Matching the hand-painted matte glass vessel, the green presentation box is stamped with a Japanese infinite Mizuhiki knot design, traditionally said to offer protection to the recipient.

    The Scent: Etoile
    Evoking the scent of traditional Japanese incense, the candle is fragrances with notes of sandalwood, cedar, patchouli and rose. The hand-painted matte beige vessel comes in a matching presentation box that's printed with a 'hanamusubi' - a symbolic Mizuhiki knot that can be untied and re-tied, so it is often used to mark fortuitous events that we wish will repeat in the future.

    The Scent: Lumiere
    Evokes woody notes of cedar and cashmere, floral notes of iris and patchouli and warming hints of tonka bean and amber. The hand-painted matte red glass vessel comes in a presentation box that's beautifully decorated with a gold and white 'awabi-musubi' print, representing longevity and eternal life.
