MEET MATISSE

In the last years of his life Matisse began using scissors to create an astonishingly new art form. H cut out colored paper to make images of the things he loved. This book introduces children to Matisse and his cut-outs and shows how t he world looked through his eyes. Included here are activity pages showing children how to mix color and make texture, and how to use paper, scissors and paintbrush.
