This series of handwoven open-weave grass baskets is one small part of our large commitment to engage brands with a conscious. As such, the social enterprise behind the baskets works directly with co-operative of indigenous women in rural Northern Ghana, providing these marginalized and deprived weavers with a regular source of sustainable income. Additionally, an artisanal craft is preserved, and we are able to sell a handmade product that is not only beautiful, but quite functional.
