VINTAGE STEUBEN GLASS DISHES

Size

For more than 100 years Steuben Glass represented the epitome of American crystal. Internationally acclaimed, a gift to presidents and the treasured possession of generations of collectors.

These glass dishes were designed in 1939 by George Thompson, a senior staff designer at Steuben, whose works are in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and the Palais de Louvre in Paris, among many other museums. Although technically designed as an ashtray, we prefer to repurpose them as ring or candy dishes or as a guest soap tray.
