This silver plate Hors d'Oeuvres Serving Set was sold by James Robinson in the first half of the 20th century. Retailer James Robinson was a highly regarded seller of handmade silver flatware, antique jewelry, porcelain and glass since 1912. The seven-piece set includes a fork, three spoons (one with a serrated edge), a knife, a shovel/pusher and a five-pronged wide fork. A 1950's James Robinson ad for the set referred to it as "A Gift to Relish." A very rare and highly collectible set.
