ANTIQUE MAPPIN & WEBB BOXED FISH SET

This 14-piece fish set includes 6 fish knives, 6 fish forks and a 2-piece serving set. The maker, Mappin & Webb, traces its origin to a silver workshop founded in Sheffield, England in 1775. The set is presented in tis original oak wood box with gold imprint on lining reading MAPPIN & WEBB Manufacturing Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, London & Sheffield. The box lid also has a brass shield emblem monogrammed C. & B.M. 11th June,1924. A true treasure.
