PASSAGE, ANDY GOLDSWORTHY

Passage, by renowned sculptor Andy Goldsworthy, has it's central theme the journeys that people, rivers, landscapes, and even stones take through space and time. A cairn that Goldsworthy made in the Scottish village he lives indicates the importance of his work close to home and it's influence on projects he creates elsewhere. Three cairns now span the American landscape, delineating the artist's own journey across the land, as well as a culmination of a form that has played a significant part in his work for many years.
